I started my working life in media (a long time ago!), then went on to have a family and then re-trained as a fitness instructor back in 2012.  Deciding to start a low waste refill shop was somewhat out of the blue but at the same time seemed to fit with all my beliefs and desire to protect the planet for my children and future generations.  Having met Elise through village and school life we discovered a shared interest in all things eco.  This resulted in a trip to a zero waste shop in Essex in January 2019 which was very exciting.  By the time we had driven home we had decided to open our own shop and 12 weeks later we opened our doors.  A whirlwind to say the least, but one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
